Silliman U continues providing aid to typhoon-hit communities
As part of its initiative to help those who have been affected by the onslaught of typhoon Odette, Silliman University (SU) has continued providing aid to the municipalities of Manjuyod and Bindoy in Negros Oriental.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Dec. 27, SU said it distributed additional water, food packs, and rice to communities affected by “Odette” in the two municipalities in Negros Oriental.
SU said that they are still accepting cash and in-kind donations for the initiative.
The private research university had called for the donations of cash or drinking water, canned goods, rice, and hygiene products to help communities adversely affected by Typhoon Odette like the towns of Manjuyod, Bindoy, and others located north of Negros Oriental.
“We welcome any amount you can spare and contribute to the fund, which will be used for relief operations, psychosocial processing (PSP), intervention to affected communities, and rebuilding efforts,” wrote SU on Facebook.
Interested donors may contact the university through its official social media pages and its website. (Charie Mae F. Abarca)
