Paranaque City gov't declares half-day work on Dec. 24 and 31

Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez has declared half-day work for city employees on Dec. 24 and 31 starting at 12 noon.

Olivarez said the half-day work at the City Hall was declared to give its employees the opportunity to be with their families early and give them time to prepare for the Holiday season.

He said departments and offices whose functions involve basic health services, preparedness, response to disaster and calamities and other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The offices that shall continue to render the necessary services are the following: Health Emergency Management Service (HEMS), Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Public Safety and Security Division, and frontline service providers
