Epic sci-fi film 'Dune' streaming this Christmas on HBO GO via Sky

Strap yourself in for an out-of-this-world intergalactic adventure as SKY offers the premiere of the legendary sci-fi blockbuster "Dune" to Filipino audiences on Christmas day (Dec. 25) on HBO GO.

Helmed by acclaimed French-Canadian filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, the film adaptation of Frank Herbert's 1965 novel stars TimothÃ©e Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem, among others.

Set thousands of years in the future, the film follows the destined hero Paul Atreides (TimothÃ©e), heir to Duke Leto (Oscar) and warrior priestess Lady Jessica (Rebecca), as he goes into the treacherous depths of planet Arrakis to harvest its prized resourceâ€”the Spice.

However, in order to obtain the Spice, Paul must endure the planet's inhospitable conditions, including scorching heat, whipping sandstorms, and the planet's deadliest creatures, all while contending with an ongoing power struggle against House Harkkonen, led by Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (SkarsgÃ¥rd), who will stop at nothing to secure Arrakis' most valuable resource.
