Oaminal suffered minor bruises while Mayor Michael Gutierrez, of Lopez Jaena municipality and former Oroquieta City Mayor Jason Almonte were wounded.
Gutierrez is running for vice governor of Misamis Occidenta while Almonte is an aspirant for congressman of the 1st district of Misamis Occidental.
Carlos said the lockdown is part of the dragnet operations to arrest the suspects in the shooting Wednesday evening during a party attended by local politicians in Sitio Pulao, Bgy.VII in Tangub City.
"Additional policemen were fielded to assist the local police in setting-up mobile checkpoints around Tangub City," said Carlos.
Gutierrez suffered a gunshot wound in the head and is now under medical treatment at the Misamis University Medical Center, Ozamiz City while both Congressman Oaminal and Jason Almonte are now in stable condition and have been released from the hospital.
