The Pasay City government distributed P3,000 worth of grocery items to 89 beneficiaries of the “Dagdag Puhunan Livelihood Project” to help them start their own sari-sari (variety) store or any chosen business.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the 89 beneficiaries of “Dagdag Puhunan Livelihood Project” are residents who were badly hit by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Rubiano said the “Dagdag Puhunan Livelihood Project” is a joint project of the city government with Rep. Antonino Calixto and her office.
The mayor even accompanied the beneficiaries to a grocery store in choosing grocery items they want to start their business with.
Rubiano said the city government will continue to help those who lost their jobs and sources of revenue due to the pandemic.
