Moonton: No official M3 champion skin yet, keeps lines open with Blacklist

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang game developers Moonton has already released a statement regarding the #WeWantEstes appeal which trended on Twitter on Thursday, Dec. 23 after Blacklist captain Jonmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna revealed that hero Estes was allegedly left out of the choices for the M3 championship skin.

“We are aware of the various discussions within community groups and threads on the M3 champion skin, and we are paying great focus to this issue at hand,” said Moonton in a statement.

OhmyV33nus, in one of his streams, said that Moonton asked them to give three heroes but Estes—the team’s choice—was not part of it.

Fans of the squad quickly took to Twitter and aired their side, some appealing to Moonton to reconsider the choice for the M3 skin.

“We would like to clarify that the M3 Champion Skin has not yet been determined, and development is still underway. We are also fully cooperating and listening to the voice of Blacklist International and their players on the final selection,” said the game developers.

Moonton said that it remains in communication with Blacklist International regarding the discussion of the M3 skin and values to opinions of the squad, as well as the MLBB esports community.

“We are proud of their performance in M3 and their ability to unite the esports spirit in all of us. The voices of our fans, players, and cherished partners greatly matter, and we will continue to keep open communication and hear each other's opinion, and we hope that you continue to support both MLBB and MLBB Esports and help us improve,” it said.

Moonton added that it will be making an announcement regarding the M3 skin in the next few days.

“There will be another announcement on the M3 skin in the coming days, and we apologize for causing inconvenience to those affected and the players who have supported and loved us along the way. Thank you for your understanding.”
