BIR says taxpayers may avail of the new UBP electronic payment scheme

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) said taxpayers may avail of the Union Bank of Philippines' (UBP) InstaPay via UPAY facility in paying taxes.

BIR Commissioner Caesar R. Dulay said the facility can be reached by clicking the ePAY icon.

The BI chief stated in Revenue Memorandum Circular 126-2022 that taxpayers should click the instructional video link for the steps on how to pay taxes via UPAY.

Dulay advised taxpayers to visit the UBP website on how to avail of the electronic payment system.

For other concerns, Dulay said taxpayers may email the bank's customer. service (a) unionbankph.com , or call UBP customer service hotline at +16328841-8600.
