Benguet school under DepEd receives donation from Royal Thai Embassy Manila
A Department of Education (DepEd) school in Kapangan, Benguet received water tank donations from the Royal Thai Embassy Manila.

DepEd joined the delegates of the Royal Thai Embassy Manila in visiting the province of Benguet for the turnover of donations at Gov. Bado Dangwa Agro-Industrial School.
Together with DepEd Officials, the delegates of the Royal Thai Embassy Manila headed by Mr. Thawat Sumitmor, the Chargé d'Affaires, a.i., accompanied by First Secretary Aditat Panupong and Second Secretary Witsarut Piyavongsomboon visited the school of the fourth Princess Maha Chakri Award recipient Marcelo Otinguey.

Gov. Bado Dangwa Agro-Industrial School received donations from the Royal Thai Embassy Manila in cooperation with Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company (CPF).
After the ceremony, Otinguey led the tour of the delegates and the DepEd family around the school. He also presented his programs and projects for his school.
DepEd International Cooperation Office (ICO) Director Margarita Consolacion Ballesteros, DepEd-CAR Regional Director Estela L. Cariño, Schools Division Superintendent of SDO Benguet City Gloria Buya-ao, and Regional and Division personnel hosted a welcome dinner for the delegates.
“We have gone beyond people to people and country to country,” Ballesteros said. “We have started collaborating where it is most needed,” she added.
Otinguey is the Head Teacher V of Gov. Bado Dangwa Agro-Industrial School.
He was recently awarded the prestigious Princess Maha Chakri Award for his significant contributions to the lives and education of his students.
Meanwhile, Sumitmor, as well as the other delegates, thanked the school and the community for the hospitality it showed to the guests.
The delegates also paid a visit to the Thai crafted Elephants, in the Botanical Garden, in Baguio City.
The monument was constructed to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the long-standing diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Thailand.
They also discussed the possible renovation of the Thai crafted Elephants during their visit.
