Vilma Santos reacts to Edu Manzano-Cherry Pie Picache romance

Luis Manzano recently had his mom, Vilma Santos, appear on his YouTube channel called "Luis Listens."

In there, Luis asked Vilma different questions including: “Ano ang iyong reaksiyon sa pagmamahalan ni Daddy O (his term of endearment to Edu Manzano) at ni Tita Pie (Cherry Pie Picache)?”

Vilma was reticent at first.

She said: “Grabe ka! Ang dami-daming tumatawag sa akin, nag-iinterbyu, hindi ko sinasagot, anak. Ang sabi ko, I don’t want... ayokong makialam sa isyu na ‘yan.”

But Luis explained that it's necessary as he's planning to have both edu and Cherry Pie appear on the vlog as his next guests.

“Ah, really? Oh my God, that’s good to hear,” Vilma said.

She then said: "What’s important, I guess is, puwede ko lang i-share, I’m happy. I am happy, I’m happy. You know naman si Eduardo, your dad, and Pie is a very close friend of mine. At this point in time ng buhay natin, ang pinakaimportante lang is nandiyan ang respeto at pagmamahal, so I wish them all the best.”

Edu confirmed the romance only last month after talk about it started circulating on social media.
