Marikina police arrest 4 wanted men, 3 others in anti-criminality operations

The Marikina City Police announced on Wednesday, Dec. 22, the arrest of four of the most wanted men in the city and three others in separate anti-criminality operations.
According to the police, Diosdado Nual Jr. alias Bakla, a resident of Balubad Settlement, Brgy. Nangka in Marikina City was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday night, Dec. 21.
Police confiscated from him around seven grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P47,600.
In separate anti-criminality operations, the city police arrested four of Marikina’s most wanted men identified as Rosalito Gotes, 41; Mark Jason Alombro, 28; Dower Funa, 62, all charged with attempted homicide; and Marvin Severino, 26, who is facing two counts of theft.
Meanwhile on Dec. 18, suspects Josemar Oliveria Salgado, 26 and Baina Guinai, 28, were also arrested for using fake money as payment at the Christmas Bazaar in River Banks, Brgy. Barangka, Marikina City.
Police Col. Benliner Capili, Marikina City Police chief, advised the public to be vigilant on the fake bills that circulate especially during this holiday season.
Capili told the public to report unlawful activities to the authorities.
