Labor chief Bello, hosts of 'Oh My Job!' give special Christmas message

Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre “Bebot” Bello III shared his holiday message as he gave importance to the blessings that we have been enjoying the whole year.


“Wish ko na ngayong Pasko ay mapuno ng pagmamahal at saya ang ating mga tahanan, bagama't the
virus is still around. In celebrating the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ, sana ay kumpleto ang ating mga
mahal sa buhay. Hangad ko rin para sa inyo ang maayos na kalusugan at maaasahang hanapbuhay while
we continue to overcome the huge challenges before us. “


Bello said he remains positive and hopeful of the future. “Now ay higit pang lumakas ang pagbabayanihan natin upang sabay-sabay natin maipagpawan ang mga pagsubok na ito. Patuloy din tayong magpapasalamat sa mga blessing ng Panginoon. Una na rito ang dahan-dahan nating pagbangon mula sa dagok ng COVID-19. Sa ating pananalangin at pag-iingat, I am very confident that we can receive the best gift this Christmas. Patuloy ang ating paglaya mula sa gapos ng pandemya.”


Representing the government’s sentiments to everyone, Bello expressed his genuine love for everyone.


“From the bottom of my heart, maraming maraming salamat sa inyong patuloy na pagtitiwala sa
pamahalaan at sa Department of Labor and Employment. Tulad ni Pangulong Duterte, mahal na mahal
ko kayong lahat. Kaya Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”

Also, the hosts of “Oh My Job” share their reflections during this holiday season.


Anchor DA Arnell Ignacio goes back to the old traditions and the true meaning of Christmas. "Sa pamilya namin tradisyon na 'yan… nagreregaluhan kami, exchange gifts even with our neighbors. Ngayong pandemya… bumalik 'yung meaning nung Paskong namimiss ko. Give with a happy heart."


Co-Anchor Bea Binene expressed the true blessing of the season. "Hindi kailangan 'yung material thing. Healthy lang kayo, buo ang pamilya at kasamang nagse-celebrate."


Co-Anchor Tuesday Niu gives credit to the resilience of the Filipinos. "Heto pa rin tayo nakatayo, mayroon tayong hanapbuhay, kasama natin ang buong pamilya at kaibigan. Iparamdam sa kapwa 'yung ginhawa na nararamdaman natin ngayon."
