Beauty queens and pageant kings added glitter as they celebrated the 13th anniversary of ToledoMed via an event billed as “The Grand Event” at the Shangri-la The Fort in Taguig City last Dec. 18.
Toledo Medical Companies, Inc., now popularly known as ToledoMed and what it is today, is the outcome of the hard work and perseverance of its founder, Dr. Librado N. Toledo Jr., and his vision of transformative and timeless beauty in the Philippines.
Dr. Toledo is a graduate of the Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology in Far Eastern University and finished his Doctor of Medicine at De LaSalle University (DLSU-UMC). Dr. Toledo is a PRC-certified physician. He gained extensive training in aesthetic, anti-aging and skin health at Medical Skin Health Training Foundation (PPSHPI), American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and Dr. Hertoghe Medical School (Belgium).
Aside from these, he gained formal residency training in Seoul and Busan, South Korea for cosmetic surgery, where he was given a distinction as Board Diplomate and Fellow in Korean College of Cosmetic Surgery. He is also a pioneer of scarless facelift where he was trained under Dr. Servdev in Sofia, Bulgaria. ToledoMed started as a sole proprietorship in Koronadal City, South Cotabat which is the founder's hometown.
With an expansion under the founder’s horizon, the sole proprietorship was converted to a corporate entity in 2017, and has established branches in major cities in the Philippines. This expansion is anchored on the vision and mission of the company, which is to provide accessible beauty transformation and enhancement across the country. Its Makati Branch is now the head office.
True to its vision, ToledoMed provides a wide array of dermatological, aesthetic and cosmetic services, including surgical or non-surgical treatments. Its services are always customer-centered and are mixture of providing fitting transformation and enhancement.
With these services, ToledoMed has helped produce beauty queens in the Philippine national pageantry. In the international arena, it has assisted beauty queens to showcase the true Filipina beauty. These queens are known as ToledoMed Angels, namely:

Timeless beauty and wellness guru Ms. Cory Quirino is a certified ToledoMed Angel.

Highlight of the “The Grand Event” was the awarding of the Highest Achievement - Philippines in Merz Portfolio Injectables at the 6th Merz Aesthetics Asia Pacific Golden Record Awards to Toledo Medical Companies, Inc. (ToledoMed).
