Matteo Guidicelli joins relief drive for Typhoon Odette

Actor Matteo Guidicelli took time off from his busy schedule as he lent a helping hand to victims of Typhoon Odette.

Matteo is a Cebuano whose hometown was one of the badly-hit areas of the typhoon.

"The first pick-up of goods happened this morning, this will be sent to Cebu and other parts of the Visayas and Mindanao by your PH ARMY," said Matteo on Instagram.

In April 2019, Matteo joined the Philippine Army Reserve Command.

"I officially joined the Philippine Army today because I love my country. I would like to thank the people that have been very supportive. Exciting times ahead,” the husband of Sarah Geronimo said on social media.

In photos taken by Manila Bulletin photographer Ali Vicoy, Matteo and some members of the Philippine Army were seen unloading bottles of water and other essentials to the military trucks that will be brought to the areas affected by the typhoon. Some P5 million worth of goods were donated by Landers to the Army.
