Kris Aquino tells typhoon victims: 'Bawal ang sumuko'

Kris Aquino gave some words of encouragement to typhoon victims as she told them never to lose hope during the crisis.

"God bless the Philippines during yet another crisis. Sana wag tayong mawalan ng pag-asa dahil pabangon pa lang, knockout na naman. Bawal ang sumuko dahil hindi tayo pababayaan ng mag bibirthday sa Dec 25," said Kris on Instagram.

Kris said that she is on a Christmas break with her boyfriend Mel Sarmiento. However, the Queen of All Media said that she is in non-stop communication with friends as to how to help the victims of Typhoon Odette.

One of her partners in charity work is Kapamilya star Angel Locsin.

"Matagal na kaming tandem ni @therealangellocsin pag ganitong may kalamidad at araw araw kaming naguusap kung paano ba makakatulong," she said.

Aquino's full post on Instagram:

"it was my desire to keep our pre Christmas break very private. mel & i left Dec 9 with every intention of being back Dec 17. ang tagal pinagplanuhan kung saan pupunta. Walang available in Bataan or Zambales. We could be accommodated in Boracay (thank you @discoveryshoresboracay & @theauhanaboracay) pero problema namin yung air travel because of my compromised immunity. Sadly, my weight had dropped below 90 lbs.

"Ayoko pong isipin ninyo na dedma ako sa pinagdadaanan ng mga kapwa nating Pilipino dahil sa napaka lakas at bagsik ng bagyong #odette.

"Hindi na po ako mag dedetalye pero nonstop ang communication ko sa mga kaibigan kung paano makakatulong. Maraming salamat sa @puregold_ph dahil natulungan akong magbigay sa kaibigan na may paraan para ipaabot ang aking pamaskong pagbahagi sa area nila sa Mindanao.

"Salamat sa @snr_official, @smsupermalls and @stweets sa pagtulong sa min para mapa kumpleto ang necessities para sa mama at mga pamangkin ni mel na walang kuryente, nasiraan ng generator, walang tubig at para magka signal umaakyat sa rooftop ng bahay nila.

"Paubos na rin po ang gasolina sa Cebu. Kaya grabe ang iniiyak ng puso ko para sa mga nawalan ng lahat.

"Matagal na kaming tandem ni @therealangellocsin pag ganitong may kalamidad at araw araw kaming naguusap kung paano ba makakatulong. Kinukulit namin ni alvin si Ina ni vp @lenirobredo.

"5 AM kanina magka text kami ni VP Leni. Saludo ako sa kanya at kay Senator @mannypacquiao dahil nagkaisa sila para mas maraming matulungan. Finally makakauwi na, at mas marami nang magagawa.

"Hihingi na ko ng paumanhin. Marami po akong na order na @enjoyglobe GCash special na Kris cards (kagaya po nung napagawa ko sa @shopeepay_ph)- naisip ko na ito yung perfect na pang regalo. Uunahin ko po muna yung talagang MOST IN NEED. Bawi po ako sa inyo bago na lang ako mag birthday.
