Jollibee Group-owned Smashburger has opened a new branch at 669 8th Avenue near Times Square in the US for a total of 17 new stores this year.
In a statement, Jollibee said the fast casual better restaurant’s store openings is aligned with the Jollibee Group’s aggressive expansion program in North America.


“With our 8th Avenue location near the hustle and bustle of Times Square, Smashburger will be the destination for mouthwatering burgers,” said Smashburger President Carl Bachmann.
He added that, “We look forward to enhancing the energy of this area and look forward to opening more Smashburger restaurants in the Big Apple very soon.”
Interior elements of the new store include dining seats that are thoughtfully placed throughout the restaurant and offer a nod back to the brand’s Colorado roots, while also celebrating the area by featuring artwork of New York’s cityscape. Wi-Fi and USB chargers are also available.

On top of the brand’s Certified Angus Beef burgers, the new Smashburger store menu offers grilled and crispy chicken sandwiches, turkey and black bean burgers and fresh crisp salads.
Customers can also enjoy signature side items such as Brussels sprouts, SmashFries® tossed in rosemary, garlic, olive and its famous dessert, the hand-spun milkshakes made with Häagen-Dazs® ice cream.
Smashburger’s breakfast menu include an Egg & Cheese Sandwich on toasted brioche served plain or with either bacon or sausage; a Breakfast Smashburger, topped with an egg, bacon and aged cheddar on toasted brioche, and Breakfast Tots.
