I come from Bohol and my heart sank when I received a call from my Korean lessee that my fellow Boholanos are already looting in search for food and water in some areas in Bohol where no help has been given yet. Ninety percent of my fellow paisanos have lost their homes, including myself where I have beach home in Panglao. I called Senator Dick Gordon immediately who responds to emergency relief operations, and he is urging people to donate in cash or in kind. The cash will reach faster because they can buy from the merchants in Bohol. Should you wish to donate in kind, heavy-duty waterproof tarpoline (trapal), is badly needed to help most of my kapaisanos to temporarily replace the rooves of their homes. Ang Brp Tubbataha at BRP Malabrigo naman ay pupuntang Visayas para maghatid ng pangunahing pangangailangan ng mga apektadong pamilya tulad ng food packs, kumot, hygiene kirs at malinis na tubig. Kasunod na nanawagan po ang PCG sa lahat ng gustong magpahatid ng tulong sa pamamagitan ng pagbigay ng relief goods. Ang bawat donor ay makakatanggap ng corresponding receipt patungkol sa kanilang donasyon.
