The City of Manila on Monday, Dec. 20, extended aid to the towns of Sogod and Maasin in Southern Leyte following the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.

Aside from the Christmas food boxes, 1,000 food packs and drinking water were also donated by the city government.
The City of Manila has been giving assistance to towns and provinces that were severely hit by the typhoon.
Manila mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso had earlier thanked and commended Manilenos for donating their Noche Buena food packages given to them by the city government to the victims of Typhoon Odette.

The food packages were personally delivered to the representatives of each town in the provinces.
