Appliance overheat sparks fire in Makati

A fire hit a commercial building in Makati on Tuesday, Dec. 21 due to overheated home appliances.

Authorities confirmed the fire incident at Unit 301-F, W. Young Bldg., 5782 Felipe St. Brgy. Poblacion, Makati City at 8:02 a.m. and declared fire out at 8:15 a.m.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the owner and occupant of the unit as Shela Gulios.

No one was injured in the incident.

Arson investigators placed the damage to property at P15,000.
