Gerald Anderson donates relief goods for typhoon victims

Actor Gerald Anderson has donated relief goods for the victims of typhoon "Odette".

Anderson, an Auxiliary Commander of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA), provided sacks of rice and boxes of bottled water which will be delivered by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in some areas in Western Visayas and Northeastern Mindanao.

The goods provided by the actor were loaded on BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV-8301) expected to arrive Tuesday in the affected areas.

According to the PCG report, the goods delivered by Anderson last Sunday, Dec. 19 was only an initial donation as the actor pledged to donate more for the relief operations of the agency.

Thousands of families, particularly in Surigao City and Dinagat Island, will benefit from the relief effort.
