The Pasig City Police Station (PCPS) filed robbery charges on Monday, Dec. 20, against five suspects, four of them former policemen, for the P30 million robbery which took place along Sta. Elvira street in Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig City last Saturday, Dec. 18.
PCPS Chief Col. Roman Arugay, in a DZBB report, said the four former policemen identified as Jayson Bartolome, Merick Desoloc, Christian Jerome Reyes, and Pat Kirk Joshua Almojera, and a former employee of the victims were charged with robbery on Dec. 20.

The five suspects are currently detained at the PCPS detention facility. Two of the suspects -- Merick Desoloc and Pat Kirk Joshua Almojera -- voluntarily surrendered to the Taguig City Police Station and were turned over to the PCPS.
One of the suspects, Taguig resident Jhon Carlo Atienza, was found dead with a gunshot wound in Barangay Pinagkaisahan in Makati City.
The two other suspects -- Ferdinand Fallaria and Rowel Galan -- are at-large.
On Dec. 18, eight robbers entered the home of Japanese national Kani Toshihiro, 42, and Joana Marie Espiritu, 26.
The suspects forced Toshihiro to open a vault and surrender about P30 million in cash and an expensive mobile phone to them.
