321 SAP beneficiaries in Navotas City get 2nd tranche

A total of 321 Social Amelioration Program (SAP) beneficiaries received the 2nd tranche of their cash aid in Navotas City on Monday, Dec.20.

According to a Facebook post of Mayor Toby Tiangco, the residents received the second tranche after about a year of following it up with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Tiangco also said that some 97 residents did not claim their cash assistance.

He urged the residents who had a problem with their cash aid to walk in on Thursday, Dec.23.

“Nanawagan po kami sa lahat ng may problema sa 2nd tranche ng Bayanihan 1 na wala sa kahit anong listahan na mag walk in po sa December 23, 1pm-5pm, sa Kapitbahayan Elementary School, para maharap ng DSWD NCR ang inyong problema (We call on everyone who has a problem with the 2nd tranche of Bayanihan 1 who are not on any list to walk in on December 23, 1pm-5pm, at Kapitbahayan Elementary School, so that the DSWD NCR can address your problem),” he said.

“Paalala po na sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11469 o Bayanihan to Heal as One Act, Bayanihan 1 lang po ang may 2nd tranche. Samantala, sa Bayanihan to Recover as One Act, isang tranche lang po ang nakalagay para sa Bayanihan 2 at wala po itong 2nd tranche (Please note that under Republic Act No. 11469 or Bayanihan to Heal as One Act, only Bayanihan 1 has the 2nd tranche. Meanwhile, in Bayanihan to Recover as One Act, only one tranche is listed for Bayanihan 2 and it does not have a 2nd tranche),” he added.
