Kuku stars as T1 off to winning start in DPC SEA Winter Tour

Carlo “Kuku” Palad and T1 showed why they are the top team in the Southeast Asia region after dominating TNC Predator, 2-0, to start the 2021- 22 DPC SEA Winter Tour on a high note on Wednesday, Dec 1.

The Filipino captain showed no rust in his first game since helping T1 finish at 7th-8th place in the The International 10. Kuku orchestrated the two-game triumph, first with a neat 9-0-15 KDA on the Mars before following it up with a 6-3-16 showing on the Timbersaw in Game 2.

T1 punished the early aggression from TNC in the opener and pulled away for good from there to score a 41-7 drubbing of the Predators in Game 1.

In the 11-minute mark, Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon initiated a perfect Chronosphere on his Faceless Void, catching three heroes on the side of TNC. T1 went full throttle during that clash as Karl “Karl” Jayme on the Queen of Pain and Kenny “Xepher” Deo on the Bane scored double kills each.

Karl finished with a 15-0-11 KDA while Xepher contributed a 7-2-22 score line.

T1 showed no let up in the second game as Kuku continued to set the assault for his team. Kuku’s efforts allowed Karl’s Mars and 23savage’s Morphling to quickly snowball and reach their respective power spike.

As a result, the two wreaked havoc and utterly destroyed TNC, 37-17, as T1 opened the new DPC season with a bang. 23Savage unleashed a 14-2-11 showing while Karl continued his fine play with an 8-3-18 performance.

Levi "YoungGod" Lagaret was the lone bright spot for TNC in Game 2 finishing with an 8-4-13 KDA on his Lifestealer.

TNC will have the chance to bounce back on Saturday when it takes on Motivate.Trust Gaming. T1 on the other hand will face Team SMG next week.
