WATCH: Jane de Leon shouts iconic 'Darna' on teaser

The teaser of "Darna: The TV Series" has recently been released.

"LILIPAD NA NGAYONG 2022! #DarnaTheTVSeries #Darna2022," the caption in the post read.

Online users expressed excitement on how actress Jane de Leon, who is playing the titular role, delivered the iconic shout.

And as seen in the clip uploaded by JRB Creative Production on Facebook, Jane does her own version of Darna's iconic line.

Meanwhile, Janella Salvador, who was recently introduced as this generation’s Valentina, Darna’s main nemesis, was also featured in the video, as well as, Joshua Garcia, a policeman and EMT named Brian, who will be Narda’s love interest.

The scene of Iza Calzado, who is taking on the role of the first Darna, Leonor, passing the magical stone to her daughter Narda also made it to the clip.

On the other hand, other cast members like Zaijian Jaranilla, Rio Locsin, Simon Ibarra, Levi Ignacio, Richard Quan, and Kiko Estrada, have yet to appear, as well as, Joj Agpangan, Zeppi Borromeo, Mark Manicad, Marvin Yap, Dawn Chang, Tart Carlos, L.A. Santos, Yogo Singh, Young JV, and Gerard Acao, who are also part of the series.

The show, based on the iconic Filipino super heroine created by Mars Ravelo, will be directed by Chito S. Roño.
