OhmyV33nus relishes chance to share M3 Finals stage with Onic's Dlarskie, Baloyskie

After missing the playoffs in their first try during the M1 World Championship in Malaysia, Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna was just proud to share the M3 Grand Finals stage with former teammates Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy and Gerald “Dlarskie” Trinchera even if they are now at the opposing sides of the all-Filipino finale.

OhmyV33nus, together with Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario, was part of the Onic PH team with Dlarskie and Baloyskie which represented the country in the first iteration of the crowning tournament of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang in 2019.

The crew however fell out of the tournament early after suffering tough losses in the group stage.

“I’m just so proud of my team. I can see their efforts since we went down to the lower bracket. I was just so proud of them and even with Onic PH because during M1 we represented the PH team with Dlar and Baloy,” said the Blacklist captain following its 3-1 victory over BloodthirstyKings in the lower bracket finals of the tournament.

In their return to the world stage, the four managed to make it to the Grand Finals albeit now on different sides and only two of them will get the chance to go all the way and finish what they failed to accomplish during M1.

Unlike Baloyskie and Dlarkie’s Onic PH which had a dominant run in the upper bracket, OhmyV33nus and his Blacklist had to go through the longer road and climb their way back to the finals through the lower bracket.

“It’s not about revenge anymore everyone is so emotional right now even me, we’re down to the lower bracket with the same team we beat today,” said V33nus.

“Sobrang naging eye opener talaga sa amin sa maraming bagay (loss to BTK). I think ayun din yung naging reason kung bakit kami nakaabot sa Grand Finals ngayon dahil dun sa pagkatalo naming,” he added.
