Lifeless body found floating along Marikina river in Pasig

A lifeless male body was found floating along the Marikina river under the Rosario bridge, Ortigas Avenue in Barangay Rosario, Pasig city on Sunday, Dec. 19.

According to Raffy Amacio, the city safety officer present at the scene, the body was found by barge operators floating along the Marikina river in Barangay Rosario.

Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Petty Officer 2nd class Edner Ersando speculated that the body had been in the water for three to five days based on the decomposition.

Ersando also estimated that the victim was 35 to 40-years-old in age.

The unidentified victim was found wearing red shorts, a white baller bracelet on the right hand, a ring on the left hand, and had no identifying marks or tattoos.

No injuries or signs of foul play were detected.
