Actor Alwyn Uytingco proudly admitted that he and his wife Jennica Garcia have reconciled. But the actress was hesitant to give a firm answer.
Note that the two stars were among the guests in the recent episode of "Mars Pa More" where the hosts Kim Atienza and Camille Prats asked the celebrity couple if all is well between them after their marital woes.
However, Alwyn and Jennica gave opposite answers.
"Bakit 'no?'" he asked the actress.
"Baka kasi too early to say. Kinakabahan ako," Jennica said in defense. "Ano, parang we are both, you know..."
Then the caught off guard Alwyn cut what Jennica was saying and asked: "We're just friends? Ganun?"
But Jennica revealed some things are just complicated.
"Hindi. Hindi ganun," she pointed out. "We're on the same page. Of course, we want... we are believing in God for our marriage to work. It's just that I'm not so... there's so much healing that needs to happen. I still have unhealthy coping habits. So I'm really working on it."
Some weeks ago, for the first time since their marital woes went viral, Alwyn shared photos featuring his wife and their kids.
The snaps showed the family of four enjoying their meals at a certain restaurant.
Recall that the couple surprised fans early this year, announcing their separation on social media.
Though later, Alwyn apologized to Jennica and their children.
Jennica, on her part, never said anything bad about Alwyn even after they broke up.
She even cleared Alwyn from several rumors, including one about him supposedly seeing other women.
Jennica also denied allegations that their separation was brought about by financial difficulties.
Then last October, Alwyn took to social media to express happiness with his wife giving him the “wonderful gift of ‘second chance."
Prior, Jennica made headlines revealing that she and Alwyn are on speaking terms again after months of estrangement.
After four years of dating, the two stars tied the knot in an intimate secret wedding in 2014.
The following year, they welcomed their first child Athena Mori, then had their second baby named Alessi three years after.
