
More than 65 million Filipinos are eligible to cast their votes during the May 2022 general elections, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said.
Based on the Comelec data, there are 65,745,529 registered voters nationwide for the 2022 elections.
During the 2019 polls, there were 61,843,771 registered voters across the country.
The region with the highest number of registered voters was Calabarzon with 9,193,096. It was followed by the National Capital Region with 7,322,361.
Meanwhile, the Cordillera Administrative Region logged the lowest number of registered voters with 1,077,900.
To recall, the voter registration period ended last Oct. 30.
