No new COVID-19 cases in Pasay City

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government has recorded zero new COVID-19 infections as the count of its active cases remained at four as of Dec. 18

Rubiano said the four active cases in Barangay 40, 101,183 and 197 are strictly being monitored by doctors and nurses from the City Health Office (CHO) for their full recovery.

With this development, the mayor said the city could happily celebrate Christmas holidays but advised the residents to continue observing the basic health protocols.

She said the local health protocols being implemented by the city government -- the EMI habit (ensure to always wash your hands,mask is a must and implement physical distancing) -- must be followed in celebrating Christmas.

She also appealed to the residents to help the city government in making the city free of COVID-19 cases by the end of December so that everybody could go back to normal life.
