Mandaluyong distributes 'Pamaskong Ayuda' to city workers

The Mandaluyong City local government on Friday, Dec. 17, distributed food packages and other Christmas items to local government officials and employees as the yuletide season draws near.

In a set of photos posted on Mayor Menchie Abalos' official Facebook page, daycare teachers, Corazon De Castro Abalos Movement (CODCAM) coordinators, and Mandaluyong Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association (MAJODA) presidents received their "Pamaskong Ayuda" packages.

The local government unit (LGU) also distributed "Pamaskong Ayuda" packs to Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) presidents.

It has also given other government employees grocery packs last Sunday.

Abalos said "Pamaskong Ayuda" does not only celebrate the Christmas season, but is also Mandaluyong's way of giving due recognition to the relentless and self-less efforts of members of the community and the local government in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
