Jose Abad Santos General Hospital receives additional mega tents for COVID-19 patients

Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital (JJASGH) received on Thursday, Dec. 16, eight additional mega tents from various organizations and officials for COVID-19 patients.

Manila City Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, Congressman Yul Servo Nieto, and JJASGH Director Merle Sacdalan-Faustino accepted the mega tents during the turn-over ceremony.

Faustino expressed gratitude to sponsors Commodore Nelson Ang Guevarra; Chairman Jefferson Lau, Jaime Ching, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) traffic czar Edison Bong Nebrija, and representatives from PG Flex Premium Plastic Group, Pasay PG-Flex PH Eagles Club, and Group of Lawful Friends (GOLF) who were all present during the event.

Each individual and group sponsors received plaques of appreciation from the hospital for their support.

About 32 patients suspected to be afflicted with COVID-19 are set to be accommodated in the mega tents that were placed in the hospital grounds.
