Volleyball player-turned-sportscaster Gretchen Ho expressed disgust over messages she got sharing a picture of her with Stephen Curry on social media.
"My Game-Changer (ok hand sign emoji and goat emoji) Stephen Curry. 2974. Greatest. Shooter. Of. All. Time. #1 in 3-pointers made. (GsOAT?!!) o hayan (winking face with tongue emoji)," she wrote as caption.

Her post immediately received mixed reactions.
In fact, a certain user even sent her a direct message on Instagram.
It read: "Hey Gretchen, I hope you're doing well. Advice ko lang sayo is don't ride the COCK CAROUSEL okay? It will damage you emotionally and mentally."
The said message then prompted Gretchen to share it with the public.
"Geez. When you take fan photos with NBA players, why do people immediately assume something happened," she tweeted along with the screenshot of the direct message. "I have gotten this so many times. Pwede ba (face with look of triumph emojis)."

Well, TV personality Cesca Litton immediately sympathized with Gretchen, sharing: "I hosted an event with an international celeb guest a while back and someone posted a comment on the pic saying “k*n*nt*t mo yan?”. Some people really think they get a free pass for saying disgusting things if it’s on the internet. Their time will come."
Gretchen then replied: "Grabe diba? I’m sure this happens more often than people notice. Ang lala at ang bastos."
Meanwhile, sports anchor Paolo Del Rosario deemed the message "trash."
"Dati pa to, mas marami pa sa Facebook. Nakakainis na (face with look of triumph)," Gretchen replied to Paolo.
On the other hand, Gretchen slammed a netizen who tried to lecture her about the art of "dedma."
"So with you sayin' that, why you let it still affect you? As you said.....for years. Just continue being smart ........continue ignoring it. The moment you react to situation like this, you are simply feeding them up to continue. Just continue ignoring," the online user reiterated.
But Gretchen defended her action, explaining: "Did you see me reply to the actual message? I didn’t right. There’s a purpose for it every time I speak. Di lang naman ako nagpost dito para lang “magcomplain”. I’m calling the behavior out. Silence isn’t always the answer. Thanks for your concern. GB."
