Bulacan PHO logs 5 new COVID-19 cases

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) in the province of Bulacan has logged five new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, Dec. 16.

The PHO said the new cases brought the total number of COVID-19 cases in Bulacan to 91,917. The PHO also recorded 90,322 recoveries and 127 active cases.

Of the 127 active cases, 44 are asymptomatic; 77 are mild and moderate, while six are severe. Ten cases are admitted in the hospitals, 23 in a Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility, while 94 are in home isolation.

There was one additional death recorded, bringing the total number of COVID-19-related deaths to 1,468.

The PHO said the number of COVID-19 active cases in Bulacan continues to decline. Last Dec. 13, the PHO recorded 138 active cases; Dec. 14 --135, and Dec. 15 -- 129.
