Pasig City gives Christmas bonus to PWDs

Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Pasig City will each receive P1,500 on Friday, Dec. 17, Saturday, Dec. 18, and Sunday, Dec. 20, as part of the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO)’s annual Christmas cash gifts program for PWDs.

The cash gifts will be distributed to 10,406 PWDs without ATM cards who are registered with the Pasig City PDAO.

Manual payout on Dec. 17 will be at the RAVE Senior Citizen’s Park for PWDs residing in barangays Sagad, San Nicolas, and Sto. Tomas from 8 a.m. to 12 n.n., and in barangays Canlogan, Palatiw, and Rosario from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Manual payout for PWDs in barangays Manggahan and Sta. Lucia on Dec. 17 will be at the Manggahan Covered Court from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Dec. 18, PWDs in barangays Bagong Ilog, Bagong Katipunan, Buting, Kalawaan, Kapitolyo, Malinao, Oranbo, Pineda, San Antonio, San Jose, Sta. Cruz, Sta. Rosa, Sumilang, and Ugong will receive their cash gifts at the GAD Compound, Pasig City Hall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Manual payout on Dec. 20 will be held at the RAVE Senior Citizen’s Park for PWDs residing in barangays Bambang, Dela Paz, Kapasigan, and San Joaquin from 8 a.m. to 12 n.n, and in barangays Maybunga and Santolan from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

PWDs in barangays Pinagbuhatan and San Miguel will receive their cash gifts on Dec. 20 at the Pinagbuhatan High School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Eligible PWD recipients may claim the cash gifts in person or through an authorized representative.

Adult PWDs are required to bring two copies of their PWD ID or PWD certificate, and a valid ID.

Minor PWDs are required to bring two copies of their PWD ID or PWD certificate, a valid ID, a copy of the birth certificate, and a copy of the parent or guardian’s valid ID.

Authorized representatives are required to bring an authorization letter, a copy of the representative’s valid ID, two copies of the claimant’s PWD ID, and two recent printed photos of the claimant.

A copy of the birth certificate is needed if the claimant is a minor.

The distribution schedule for PWD ATM holders will be announced at a later date.
