Over P15M worth of ecstasy discovered in 3 parcels at NAIA
Government anti-narcotics operatives seized more than P15 million worth of ecstasy that were hidden in parcels which were discovered at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City.
The Bureau of Customs Port of Ninoy Aquino International Airport said the illegal drugs were concealed inside three parcels that were declared as clothes and shoes. The parcels came from the Netherlands and consigned to an individual with an address in Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
After the inspection, a total of 9,160 ecstasy tablets with an estimated market value of P15 million were seized.
The ecstasy tablets were were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for investigation and case build-up/
