Caloocan City holds 'Ulat sa Guro' 2021

The Caloocan City government held the "Ulat sa Guro 2021", a two-day event for public elementary and high school teachers, in Caloocan Sports Complex last Dec. 14 and 15.

The event was led by Mayor Oscar "Oca" Malapitan who acknowledged the effort, concern for the children, and sacrifices of the educators during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Malapitan said the city government will procure 7,692 tablets for the teachers, and assured them that their P200 augmentation allowance will be given next year.

He also presented some local government projects that will help the city's education sector.

A raffle draw was also held during the program wherein some teachers won home appliances and other prizes.

School Division Office (SDO) superintendent Dr. Nerissa Losaria, along with other SDO officials, public school principals and teachers, attended

event.

Meanwhile, Malapitan thanked the Department of Education in Caloocan (DepEd-Caloocan) for its support in the city's COVID-19 pediatric vaccination program.
