1 dead in Mandaluyong residential fire

A man was killed after a fire hit a residential area in Basilan St. corner. Boni Avenue in Mandaluyong City Thursday morning.

According to authorities, the victim was identified as Alden Villanueva, 31. His body was recovered in the debris.

The Mandaluyong City Fire Station (MCFS) raised the first alarm at 7:32 a.m. and declared fire out at 8:31 a.m.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is investigating the cause of the fire.
