To cope with the holiday travel surge, Philippine Airlines (PAL) expands its domestic services further by tripling daily flights between Manila and Iloilo and mounting sixteen weekly flights between Manila and Bacolod starting December 16, 2021.
PAL will also operate four flights between Manila and Basco, Batanes this December.
"Christmas reunions and family bonding are important to Filipinos and we hope to give them more convenient choices to fly to their hometowns," remarked PAL Senior AVP for Sales Harry Inoferio.
Hence, "We will continue to build up our domestic network for the December peak season and beyond, even as we introduce more international flights from different parts of the world to help Filipinos come home for the holidays."
“We are grateful that our national and local government authorities are opening up more travel opportunities following their success in bringing down COVID levels around the country,” noted PAL VP for Corporate Communications Josen Perez de Tagle.
“These go hand in hand with the continued push of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to increase arrival limits and open more international gateways for inbound travel of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), allowing us to land in Subic, Bohol, Davao, Cebu and Clark in addition to Manila.”
