OMG! Ariana Grande follows Lea Salonga on Instagram

Fans deem Filipino pride Lea Salonga one lucky star.

Apparently, many netizens noticed that she's among 943 people that American singer, songwriter, and actress Ariana Grande is following on Instagram.

Note that the 28-year-old international star has over 280 million followers.

Some online users think Ariana is now starting her research after she landed her dream role recently.

Recall that she is set to star in a movie adaptation of the well-loved musical “Wicked” along with British stage actress and Tony winner Cynthia Erivo.

Coincidentally, Lea is the 1991 Tony Award winner for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for "Miss Saigon."

On the other hand, the Filipino Broadway star has been cast in the upcoming rehash of the popular series “Pretty Little Liars” on HBO Max.

Some months ago, Lea participated in an online fundraiser for entertainment artists affected by the pandemic.

Then, she was virtually reunited with Disney’s many other legends including composer Alan Menken, fellow performers Jodi Benson (“The Little Mermaid”), and Paige O’Hara (“Beauty and the Beast”).

Note that Lea became the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in “Aladdin,” as well as Mulan.

Meanwhile, the 50-year-old Pinay artist marked her 43rd year in showbiz early this year.
