Man hunted for attacking tricycle driver in Tondo

Police are hunting down a man who attacked a tricycle driver with a steel chain in Balut, Tondo, Manila on Tuesday, Dec. 14.

The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the victim as Joromey Panganiban Martinez, 38.

According to the police report, an unidentified man hit the victim’s head with a steel chain with a padlock attached to its end at the corner of Modera and Pinoy Streets in Balut at around 9:30 p.m.

The suspect immediately fled while Martinez was rushed to Tondo Medical Center.

Operatives of Raxabago Police Station and Smokey Mountain Community Police Precinct led by Police Capt. Fredwin L. Sernio launched a manhunt against the suspect.
