It's a new shopping destination spot!
Denizens of Makati and Taguig who have enjoyed the Landers Superstore experience at their Katipunan, Otis, Alabang, ArcoVia, and Cebu locations have often wondered when there would be a Landers Superstore at their own "neck of the woods." Well, earlier today, Dec. 14, that particular kind of wondering has been put to an end. The sixth Landers Superstore officially opened its doors at the Uptown Palazzo, at 8th and 9th Avenue, BGC. And it’s a unique Landers that all of us will appreciate.
Blame this ongoing pandemic, but it’s actually been three years since the last Landers opening at ArcoVia. But if there’s something we can be thankful for, it’s that those intervening years have helped the Landers Group plan, and upgrade its BGC framework.
Had the opportunity to walk around the floor area with Atty. Lowell Yu, Chairman of Southeastasia Retail, Inc., and he was visibly excited showing me the new features and areas that would make the Landers Uptown Palazzo the very first of its kind. Highlights of these plans would be the new after-shopping destination, Landers Central and Dōppio—an amazing food and drinks area that will be located separately from the superstore area; and thus, will be accessible to non-card members, to those who just want to enjoy the food and drinks.
The merchandise at Landers Uptown Palazzo has been specially curated for the BGC crowd, and while the wide and spacious alleys are still a festive of this store, it’s now been laid out over two floors. The interiors have been spruced up drastically; so it elevates the Landers experience—a departure from feeling you’re just in a converted warehouse.
I was fully appreciative of how the sections and merchandise were mapped out—allowing you to create a system for shopping, whenever you visit the Superstore. And I know for the highly organized moms and housemakers, they’ll be so happy about this and the thought put into it.
During the launch of this 6th Landers Superstore, the Landers Central and Dōppio sections weren’t open yet. But I could see the promise they hold, and how exciting these areas would be in augmenting and upgrading the Landers experience. I personally love their cheeseburgers, and prefer the soft-centered, chewy dough of their pizza. Each time I’d visit their Otis, Alabang, or ArcoVia locations, I’d make sure I would have my meal there, and the cheeseburgers would hit the spot!
Mr. Kevin Tan, CEO and Chief Strategy Officer of Alliance Global, Inc., and Mr. Graham Coates, FVP & Head of Megaworld Commercial Group, were among the special guests of Atty. Lowell Yu; and taking the tour of he superstore, Kevin happily gravitated to the special liquor section that displayed their Dalmore Single Malt.
Take my word for it, when the Landers Central and Dōppio sections open, you really have to head to Uptown Palazzo and see what makes the Landers Superstore experience so different. Beyond the curated merchandise, the attention to the interiors, and the great snacks—it’s the reliable service and efficiency of the staff that makes every Landers visit so enjoyable.
