Blacklist International dispatches Keyd Stars to advance to lower bracket quarters

Blacklist International put up a masterful performance as it swept Keyd Stars, 3-0, in the third round of lower bracket action in the Mobile Legends Bang Bang: M3 World Championship at the Suntec Singapore Conventoon Centre on Wednesday, Dec. 15.

The PH champions eliminated the Brazilian side in a dominant fashion highlighted by an 11-0 beatdown in the second game to advance to the lower bracket quarterfinals.

Blacklist didn’t break a sweat in the three-game onslaught as the Filipinos got their hands on their signature heroes all-series long.

The Filipinos set the tone for the rout in the opener as they were nearly unstoppable with Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario on his signature Yi Sun-Shin and Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna on the Estes.

The PH bets quickly took control to build an early lead although the Brazilian side had some moments after it managed to secure the first Luminous Lord.

That however didn’t bother Blacklist as Wise had his way with a 7-1-7 KDA while Hadji on the Yve became a perfect compliment with 5-0-8 line. Blacklist drew the series first blood after a 16-9 Game 1 win.

Games 2 and 3 were the same story if not a much cleaner execution for the tournament favorites.

OhmyV33nus on the Rafaela provided the healing and sustain for the rest of the team as Blacklist destroyed Keyd Stars with a perfect 11-0 victory to move to the series match point.

Wise’s Bane wreaked havoc with an immaculate 7-0-2 performance while V33nus had 0-0-8 line in the one-sided affair.

Blacklist almost completed another love set in the series clincher as the Filipinos crushed any glimmer of hopes for the Brazilians with a 12-1 stomping in just 12 minutes of play.

Blacklist boasted a double-marksman lineup with Hadji on a mid-lane Clint and Wise on the jungle Natan. The two quickly snowballed as they were left untouched on their farms as wise led the way with a 3-0-2 line while Hadji added a 2-0-5 KDA.

Blacklist will face the loser of the match between fellow Filipino squad Onic Philippines and RRQ Hoshi in their upper bracket semis matchup.
