Severe tropical storm off Mindanao enters PAR, is now called 'Odette' -- PAGASA

The severe tropical storm with the international name "Rai" has entered the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) at around 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The tropical cyclone has been given the domestic name "Odette," the country's 15th cyclone for 2021.

PAGASA said tropical cyclone bulletins associated with severe tropical storm Odette will be issued beginning at 11 p.m.
