The San Juan local government started distributing Pamaskong Handog gift packs to families in the city on Tuesday, Dec. 14.
Mayor Francis Zamora led the distribution together with Atty. Bel Zamora, Vice Mayor Warren Vila, and Councilors Raissa Laurel, Paul Artadi and Boyet Aquino at the San Juan City Hall.
Team Makabagong San Juan members Ervic Vijandre, James Yap, Atty. Angelo Agcaoili, and Ryan Llanos Dee also joined the city officials in the activity.
This year, each gift pack contains two packs of 400g spaghetti noodles, two cans of 500g spaghetti sauce, a can of 432g mixed fruits, two cans 150g corned beef, two cans 150g meatloaf, two cans 155g sardines, and a pack 3kg rice.
Residents in Barangay Corazon de Jesus, Pasdena, Ermitaño and Salapan are expected to get their gift packs on Tuesday, Dec. 14, while West Crame is scheduled on Wednesday, Dec. 15.
About 45,000 families will receive gift packs from the city government this Yuletide season.
