Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government has been able to maintain its zero COVID-19 cases due to vaccinationdiligence and the discipline of city residents.
Rubiano said the City Health Office (CH) and City Epidemiology Surveillance Unit (CESU) recorded that COVID-19 cases in the city are down to 6 on Dec. 13.
She said the six remaining barangays with COVID-19 cases are 76,101,138,183,185, and 194 with one each.
The mayor said the six patients are being strictly monitored by doctors and nurses.
Rubiano asked residents to continue to follow the basic health protocols especially the EMI habit (Ensure to always wash your hands, Mask is a must, and Implement physical distancing).
She is confident that the city government will be able to sustain the zero cases of COVID-19 in the city this Christmas season for as long as its residents will continue to be vigilant.
The mayor also said the number of deaths remains at 547.
