After being selected for the New York Times Best International Shows of 2021, the hit Korean series is set for a second season with Netflix. Just today, Netflix had just confirmed the production for the second season of “D.P.” (short for Deserter Pursuit Unit), an original Korean series starring Jung Hae In and Koo Kyo Hwan.

Last season, we saw the lives of An Joon-ho and Han Ho-hyeol, who come across different stories of the people they track down while on duty in the Deserter Pursuit Unit of the Korean military.

This upcoming season, director Han Joon Hee and original webtoon writer Kim Bo Tong confirms that they will be co-writing what comes next, picking up where Season 1 left off. That means, we’re probably set to see more action between An Joon-ho and Han Ho-hyeol, alongside their buddies and enemies while in military service.

Netflix is yet to confirm the final date as to when we will see Jung Hae In and the rest of the “D.P.” gang back, but the production of the series is officially ongoing, as this article had been released.
