Ateneo grad school of business to resume face-to-face classes in February 2022
The Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business (AGSB) is returning to gradual face-to-face classes for the first time in two years starting February 2022.
In an advisory, Ateneo said it will experiment with Flex learning modes for selected courses, including Master of Business Administration (MBA) Standard, MBA for middle Managers, and MBA Health.
"Flex" means a combination of in-person classes and virtual lessons.
"What we would learn from conducting and participating in these sessions will prepare us for the return to Rockwell campus in the first terms of all programs for SY 2022-2023, starting 2022. Until then all classes will continue to be conducted in fully virtual mode, except for the pilot sessions to be identified," AGSB said.
"You will know if your course will offer the pilot sessions on the first day of your classes starting Jan. 31, 2022 for MBA Standard, MBA for Middle Managers, and MBA Health, and Feb. 21, 2011 for MBA Regis. Your professor will be asking the class if you would opt for the pilot session(s). Only a select few classes will be offering these sessions," it added.
For students in the satellite campuses -- Sta. Rosa, Iloilo, and Cebu -- Ateneo said the classes will be fully virtual only.
Ateneo added that employees and guests entering the Rockwell campus should be fully vaccinated or undergo the appropriate COVID-19 testing required by government regulations.
"As the pandemic situation remains uncertain, all plans are subject to change depending on the circumstances and new directives issued by Inter-Agency Task Force, Department of Health, Commission on Higher Education, Department of Health, Department of Labor and Employment, the Makati local government, and other pertinent government agencies."
AdMU earlier announced that it will "gradually" return to in-person classes starting January 2022.
