A failed attempt at jail bake?
A woman was arrested after attempting to smuggle in shabu-laced bread rolls to the Marikina City Police Station (MCPS) custodial facility on Saturday, Dec. 11.
MCPS Chief Col. Benliner L. Capili identified the suspect as Anne Pujol Aldana, 41.
Aldana was visiting her husband who is detained at the MCPS custodial facility and had brought the bread rolls for him.
Upon inspection by the jail officer, around one gram of shabu was found in the bread rolls with an estimated street value of P 6,800.
Aldana was arrested on the spot and will be charged for violation of Article II, Section 11 of Republic Act 9165, the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
