Unlike in its first two losses where it struggled to close out the series, Talon pushed the right buttons this time around with Kim “Gabbi” Santos and Damien "kpii" Chok carrying the load in the winner-take-all Game 3.

Gabbi made sure that Talon would notch its first win following a near-perfect performance on the Anti-Mage with a 13-1-11 KDA. Kpii followed suit with a 11-3-20 showing on the Death Prophet to help Talon improve to a 1-2 record.

It was sloppy start for the star-studded cast in its SEA DPC campaign after suffering defeats in the deciding games prior to the match against the Indonesian crew.

That was almost the same story as Talon once again started out strong with a one-sided 31-10 win but failed to sustain the momentum heading into the second game. Rafli Fathur "Mikoto" Rahman shone bright in Game 1 with a perfect 11-0-17 showing on the Kunkka while Gabbi continued his fine play with a 12-3-10 line on the Monkey King.

However, Talon failed to close out the series in Game 2 just like in its first two matches of the season. Army Geniuses leveled the series after a 29-29 victory in the second game led by the 13-1-8 performance of Muhammad "Azur4" Lutfi on the Morphling.

Talon will try to string consecutive wins when it collides against former Division I team Lilgun on the Dec 15. AG, which also had a 1-2 win-loss slate, will also face Lilgun the day after to try to get back into the win column.
