Police arrest 250 people over crime charges in Kabul

KABUL -- Afghan police have arrested 250 persons related to criminal activities in and around the capital city of Kabul over the past two weeks, Interior Ministry spokesman Qari Sayed Khosti said Sunday.

The arrested people were involved in illegal activities such as robbery, theft, mobile snatching or creating problems disrupting law and order, according to the official.

Khosti noted that Afghan police will spare no effort to ensure law and order in the Central Asian country. Enditem
