The Department of Tourism’s (DOT) “Have a Safe Trip, Pinas” ad campaign was honored as one of the Exceptional Stories of Sustainable Tourism in 20211 by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

And with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation in the country becoming more and more satisfactory, visitors to Tagaytay City are expected to increase this holiday season as many hotels have already reported being fully booked for the Christmas break.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. disclosed that local health authorities may have “dropped the ball” anew when the country missed out on getting more COVID-19 vaccine donations from the United States.
